Dedication of teachers recognised

TODAY is World Teachers’ Day and at Warwick Central State School we are taking this time to honour the hardworking, dedicated teachers of our school.

Many have been at the school for years and work tirelessly to meet students’ needs.

In our Early Years classrooms with Donna Thompson, Adrienne Guymer and Janet Karle, we have teachers who were trained in Reading Recovery. They have an in depth knowledge about the way children learn to read and the skills required to assist those who may take a little longer to achieve this skill.

Our Central RULES behaviour management system is supported and encouraged by everyone, from teachers to students and the wider community.

We are pleased we can utilise National Partnerships funding to enhance the teaching and learning cycle at our school, and thank our teachers for the wonderful job they do. We wish them all a happy World Teachers’ Day.
