Survey: Women like men who like politics

IT'S not the sexiest of subjects, but an online dating survey showed women found men interested in politics most attractive.

The eHarmony survey also ranked men "attractive" if they had an interest in things like travel, health and exercise, food and theatre.

In the study of more than 100,000 online members, such interests were seen as the most likely to lead to a date. But it also found traits most attractive to women, including theatre, charity and politics, were among the least appealing interests for men.

The top five interests listed by women that men found appealing were personal growth, health and exercise, food, family and dancing.

It also found women continued to receive almost three times as many online "requests" from men than men did from women.
