A WARWICK woman has allegedly been caught driving while almost five times the legal limit and with a two-year-old child as her passenger.

A police spokesman said officers intercepted the woman on the corner of Douglas and Pratten Sts about 11.30pm Friday.

It is alleged the woman was intoxicated and returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.234.

The 31-year-old was charged with high-range drink driving and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

She will appear in the Warwick Magistrates Court at a later date to face the charges.
