Wolves come out fighting

WARWICK Wolves started the reserves season in Football Toowoomba fixtures with a 5-1 victory against Gatton at Gatton on Sunday.

Jamie Saunders scored a double for Warwick with Casey Baguley, Nick Lockley and Mitch Darton scoring one each.

Assistant coach Peter Osborn rated Darton the best on ground.

"Mitch played well on the right wing and provided plenty of strong attack for the Wolves up front," Osborn said.

In premier league, Warwick went down 7-1 after a number of playing backed up in the top grade after playing reserves.

"Cameron Davey scored the goal with centre-back Nick Kemp the best."

The Wolves are at home at Queens Park to Willowburn on Sunday in reserves from 12.30pm and in premier football from 2.30pm.

More senior players welcome at training at 6.30pm Tuesday and Thursdays at Queen's Park.
