Wet weather to clear for weekend

THE weekend in the South Burnett is jam packed with events, but the wet weather should not get in the way of the fun.

Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Julian De Morton said Saturday would have some showers in the morning but would clear up for the afternoon.

Mr De Morton said the South Burnett would get about 10mm of rain over today.

"We've got a few showers on forecast for tomorrow, not going to be anything like today's rainfall, it's pretty good conditions for most of Saturday and then Sunday as well," he said.

Saturday should have clearing showers with a top of 22 degrees and Sunday will have a top of 23 degrees and mostly sunny.
