WEATHER: BoM predicts there is more to come

THE Granite Belt received 13mm of recorded rain from yesterday’s evening storm and the Bureau of Meteorology predict there will be more on the way.

“We are expecting some showers and storms around this afternoon,” a Bureau of Meteorology spokesman said.

“We can expect those afternoon storms over the next three days,” she said.

“We can’t guarantee, but we know there will be some showers around.”

Despite expected rain the warm weather will still be sticking around, with a maximum of 34 degrees today, 33 tomorrow and some cooler relief on Friday with a maximum of 29 degrees.
