Legal eagle tries mo' on for size

CARL Settgast has had to take the bad comments with the good since he began to grow his moustache for Movember.

The solicitor at Gudkovs Power Settgast Lawyers said he has been compared to both outlaw Chopper Reid and pop star Freddy Mercury.

"This is the second time I've grown it for Movember - it's a bit greyer this time round," Mr Settgast said.

"I think last time it was a bit more of a Mexican style. My wife is prepared to bear it though, for the cause."

Mr Settgast doesn't have a tally in mind of what he'd like to raise, but said any donation helped.

"Everyone has dealings with prostate cancer and depression," he said.

"I come across a lot of people with mental health issues all the time (in my line of work)."

Despite being urged by his colleagues to take up mascara to mask the lighter patches, Mr Settgast said he wouldn't make any changes until he shaves it off next week.

He urged all people experiencing mental health issues to seek help through one of the many local services.

People can donate on behalf of Mr Settgast online at www.movember.com/m/1366432.
