Hospital reviews maternity service
WARWICK Hospital is reviewing its maternity care services and is seeking input from mothers and families who have used the service.
Warwick Hospital Nurse unit manager Graeme Eldridge said the hospital wanted to ensure maternity services continued to meet community needs and wanted to find out community feeling about service delivery, resources and staffing.
“We would like to form a focus group to meet with me and director of nursing, Megan O'Shannessy, on a monthly basis to talk about maternity care,” he said.
“We know there is a great deal of interest in the community and we'd like to discuss ideas and issues with local people.
“We would welcome involvement from community groups, private health professionals and other interested people to be part of the focus group.” Anyone interested should contact Graeme on 46603915 by November 30.
