Hands-on workshop

THE nook under the escalators at Rose City Shoppingworld was transformed into a Christmas wonderland thanks to some special people who wanted to bring Christ to the community.

Warwick Churches Together organised a free and interactive workshop for kids to enjoy during school holidays, which included storytelling with cheeky Freddie, origami, Christmas craft and a photo- shoot with Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus.

One of the workshop organisers, Dianne Cahill, said more than 150 kids enjoyed the series of three festivities which ended Saturday.

“We want to thank the centre for allowing us to use the space and we hope to do it all again next year,” Mrs Cahill said.
