WOW that was close.

The Chronicle has obtained dash cam footage of a frightening near miss on Ruthven St.

The video shows an oncoming car cross a single continuous centre line to overtake a vehicle.

The car narrowly missed causing a head-on collision with another car.

The Department of Main Roads states drivers cannot cross a single continuous centre line to overtake another motorist or do a U-turn.

Drivers are permitted to cross the line when they enter or leave a property or road and to safely pass cyclists.

What do you think of the overtake on Ruthven St?
