THE Stanthorpe State High School Under-15 Football teams will soon play in the Regional Final of the Bill Turner Cup.

The boys defeated St Mary's of Toowoomba 1-0 in a hard fought win last Thursday.

Stanthorpe had two clear cut chances, with Josh Rogers making the most of the second, weaving past the defence before calmly placing the ball into the net.

A younger St Mary's team were strong in all positions of the fields, but could not create any clear scoring chances against a determined Stanthorpe.

The boys' final will be played against Toowoomba Grammar at 5pm this Tuesday.

The girls will play St Ursula's, also of Toowoomba, next Tuesday from 3pm.

Both games will be held at at C.F. White Oval in Stanthorpe.
