Truckie escapes injury
A MAN escaped the cabin of his rig with minor injuries after he was involved in a semi-trailer roll-over on the Cunningham Highway about 3.30am today.
The smash closed one lane of the highway for almost nine hours at Sunny Side – 20km south of Warwick – and both lanes were then closed about noon as the truck was pulled upright.
A Warwick Police spokesman said the driver received minor leg injuries and was treated at the scene. The truck was transporting banana chillies, zucchinis, squash and beans.
