Truck driver trapped in Warrego Hwy crash wreckage
BREAKING: Emergency services are responding to a crash involving a truck and vehicle on the Warrego Hwy near Toowoomba.
The crash at the intersection of the Warrego Hwy and Nugent-Pinch Rd was reported at 2.10pm.
There are reports the driver of the two-tonne truck, which was towing a car trailer, is encapsulated in the crash wreckage.
Roadworks are taking place at the intersection which is restricting emergency services' access to the crash.
The westbound lane of the Warrego Hwy is completely blocked.
Significant delays are expected and motorists are urged to avoid the area.
