Trip to Greece with the Kefi at Kominos
KEFI is a unique and lively function with a Greek theme, set to dance its way around Stanthorpe.
Tony and Mary Comino will host their annual Kefi this Saturday from 6.30pm, and is again expected to draw large wine-loving crowds during the weekend.
For this year only, it will be held at the International Club due to wet conditions.
Tony said visitors would revel in the range of Greek food and Kominos Wines.
"The night features wines we grow and make here on our vineyards, with a delicious array of Greek cuisine," he said. Traditionally, we produce wines from European super premium varieties like sauvignon blanc, shiraz, merlot and cabernet sauvignon but also have delicious alternate varieties like muscat frontignan."
Delicacies include lemon-infused lamb and merlot and rosemary marinated beef, dolmades, moussaka and baklava.
"Join us and dance to the live Greek bouzouki and Latin music," Mary said. Tony described the traditional Greek dance music as a "social dance".
"It's a very vibrant atmosphere. People enjoy it - it's a great night," he said.
There will be free buses before and after the event.
Tickets must be pre-booked, so visitors are urged to get in fast.
