Toddler airlifted after being 'struck by horse'

A 2-year-old girl was airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue after she was struck by a horse at a property north of Gympie this morning.

A Critical Care Doctor and Flight Intensive Care Paramedic on-board the Sunshine Coast-based helicopter treated her for a suspected head injury before flying her to Nambour Hospital.

The girl travelled in a stable condition and was met by her mother at the hospital.
