'Tis the season to get a bit jazzy
POPULAR local band Jazzify is back at Heritage Estate Wines this coming Sunday 25 November from noon. Jazzify's vocalist, Teri Welles, said the band is excited to be back at their favourite venue.
"It's been quite a few months since we've played at Heritage's original cellar door in Cottonvale. It has such a lovely relaxed, happy atmosphere, perfect for live music with plenty of room for everyone indoors and out. We're so looking forward to having some fun with all the lovely people who share our love of music.
"Our combo features some top musicians. In addition to our regular Jazzify members, Graham Muller and Neville Jess, we are pleased to have Rob Harvey with us on saxophone. Rob is always good value and adds a special flavour to the band with his tasty solos.
"We are also very pleased to score the talents of Nick Williams again, playing his handmade electric double bass. Nick plays regularly in many different trad jazz bands in and around Toowoomba, and is currently the bassist for the Cool Nights Big Band in Toowoomba.
"So, imagine this - a cheerful Sunday afternoon, a glass of award-winning wine in your hand, in the company of friends, listening and dancing to some quality jazzy, bluesy, swingin' and rockin' music. What a great way to sing-in the start of the silly season. Come join us.”
