Timber business offers unique, specialty items

NEWLY formed local business Cooee Timber specialises in unique Australian hardwood products.

It has a basic range, but specialises in custom-made items and the sale of ironbark timber slabs cut to order. DIY kits are also available.

"We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and efficiency, and back up service with a warranty on all our products,” owner Ewan Young said.

"Our customers can be sureevery detail is considered when requesting specially-made items; from the design stage, through to the finished product.

"We also make exclusive products for companies that may decide to have their own particular design.

"There are no limitations on products that can be made by Cooee Timber.”

Mr Young said the company was also proud to have been appointed agent for Swedish company Logosol.

Logosol offers a range of products for small-scale sawmilling and machining, including chainsaw and bandsaw mills.

"With over 25 years of experience producing sawmills and machinery, they are respected the world over,” Mr Young said.

"With Logosol chainsaw and bandsaw mills, you can mill slabs, posts, beams and boards efficiently and cost effectively.

"Logosol also has a range of machinery for taking the timber from the mill and processing it ready for value added sale.”
