Tilt train crashes into cows
AN empty Tilt Train travelling southbound to Bundaberg collided with two cows, causing the front wheels of the train to derail this morning.
The train, which crashed about 6am, is now upright and there are no reported injuries to the two drivers, who were the only people onboard the train.
The incident happened between Avondale and Littabella, about 35km north of Bundaberg.
Crews are expected on site this morning to assess any damage to the track.
Coaches will replace long distance travel services until the track reopens.
