Thieves smash gate in morning ram-raid at RACQ in Toowoomba

THIEVES have stolen a ute from RACQ Insurance in a morning ram-raid today.
A witness at the scene said he heard a loud noise at about 8:55am.
The thieves had smashed through a gate at the premises.

The witness, who did not want to be named, told The Chronicle he saw a car driving down the footpath of James St dragging part of the fence behind it.
He said a ute which had been at the premises was now gone.
Rubble at the scene is all that is left of the fence which had been at RACQ Insurance.
