Theatre's fitting tribute to ANZACS
STANTHORPE Little Theatre's production in tribute to our First World War heroes got underway is sensational fashion last night.
A Tribute to our ANZACS, written by the late Barbara Maslen, tells the story of Norman Spearman's journey from enlistment in Australia, all the way through to the battlefields of Gallipoli and the Western Front.
Mr Spearman was the Grandfather of Stanthorpe woman and Little Theatre performer, Lynnette Hush.
The play is a moving tribute filled with songs, storytelling, dance and even a cheeky game of two-up and is a must-see in the lead up to the centenary of ANZAC commemorations.
Tickets are still available for tonight and tomorrow night's shows at the Stanthorpe Little Theatre, Connor St.
Tonight's performance starts at 7pm and 6pm on Sunday night.
