The two Archies love their right royal name.

WHEN Archie Lupton, a Grade Two boy at Greenlands State School, heard that Baby Sussex was also going to be an Archie, he was obviously supportive.

"It's the best name ever,” he said.

And Archie could claim that his name is even more royal that that of the new tot, as his middle name is Charles, an historic and royal link that was overlooked with the new babe taking the much more contemporary middle name of Harrison.

Mum, Sarah Lupton is English born and said she chose the name as she had a friend in England who also had an Archie.

And her Archie isn't even the only one at Greenlands State School, there's also Archie Reimers in Grade One and the school expects a third Archie to join them next year.

Amanda Reimers said her Archie was 'pumped' when she broke to news to him as he was eating breakfast.

"He sat up in his chair with his back straight and got this big grin,” she said.

She is not sure how she came across the name, 'I read it or heard it somewhere and thought, 'I like that name','.

"I thought the baby was going to be a modern name,” she said.

"But that it was Archie too made it even more special.”
