The Applethorpe area get great news late Sunday morning
UPDATE: The one QFES Rural Fire Service unit at the Applethorpe fire is off scene.
A spokeswoman for the QFES said the last unit went home at 11.10am Sunday after being in the Kelly and Ellwood roads area at Applethorpe.
"All fires are out,” she said.
The bushfires started on September 6 and crews have been on scene each day since.
EARLIER: ONE unit from the North Granite Belt Rural Fire Brigade is at the Applethorpe fire on Sunday morning.
A spokeswoman for the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service said one unit would be at the fire on Sunday to check in the Kelly Rd area.
"The fire is within containment lines,” she said.
"The Warwick Incident Control at the Warwick Fire Station is being immobilised on Sunday after operating for a week.”
In an advice warning on Saturday night, the QFES advised there was a bushfire in Applethorpe and asked residents to keep up to date incase the situation changed.
On Saturday night, the bush fire was burning in an inaccessible area in the vicinity of Kelly and Elwood roads.
"People in the area will be affected by smoke, which will reduce visibility and air quality. Properties are not under direct threat at this time,” the statement read.
