Talented youngsters display works
IT WAS with chests puffed out and proud smiles that Year 3s at Warwick West School showed off their artistic products on Tuesday night.
The exhibition - organised by art teacher Jess Faulkner - put on show the children's art, visual art, dance and poetry they learnt during the year.
Each child selected two of their favourite art pieces for the display, which was complemented with poetry reading and a partner dance, where they taught their parents a thing or two on the dance floor.
"(The night) was a big thing for them and for their parents," Miss Faulkner said.
"The children were so happy - they had worked so hard for this and it was great they could see it all.
"Sometimes kids don't get to see what other classes do, or they spend so long with their own artwork they don't get a chance to see the others. So it's nice for them to see the finished product."
