Suspicious house fire hits same Lota house twice in a month

A SUSPICIOUS house fire has hit a Lota home for the second time in a month. 

Emergency services were called to a house on McDonald Street aroudn11.30pm following reports of a fire.

On arrival, emergency services have extinguished a fire in the carport area which sustained minor structural damage and a front room also sustained damage.

No one was injured as a result of the fire, and investigators believe it is suspicious.

Investigations are continuing and police are investigating links to a house fire that occurred earlier this month at the same address.
