THE Gold Coast Suns will be without fullback Matthew Warnock for several weeks after he fractured a bone in his left arm in the 38-point loss to Port Adelaide on Saturday night.

The 29-year-old, who finished fourth in the club's best-and-fairest last season, has had surgery to insert a plate in his left radius.

Warnock's loss will leave a big hole in the Suns defence which is sweating on the return of vice-captain Nathan Bock from a broken leg.

Half-back Joel Wilkinson suffered a knee injury during the Port match and will be sidelined for Saturday's clash against GWS in Canberra.

The club is set to regain key position player Tom Lynch after he booted 6.8 for the Suns reserves on the weekend.

Meanwhile St Kilda forward Beau Maister is set to miss up to six weeks after breaking his wrist in Saturday's 37-point loss to Essendon.

Maister has kicked seven goals from four matches this season.

The Saints are likely to regain Arryn Siposs and Tom Lee, both late withdrawals against Essendon, for Thursday's historic Anzac Day clash against Sydney in Wellington
