Strut into class with new shoes plus a chance to win

GONE are the days of the heavy, uncomfortable school shoes.

This year it's all about lightness and proper fit.

Lifestyle Footwear owner Julianne O'Brien said Nikes and Asics were all the rage this year.

"Even with your black basics school shoe, Asics has really been the winner," she said.

"It's a light leather shoe but it's durable.

"People have been really happy with the Asics."

She said the Sfida had also been really popular with Prep students.

However, school shoes are more than just the trendiest brand.

"You need good fitting shoes," Mrs O'Brien said.

"If you don't have good-fitting shoes you can damage your feet.

"We carry brands that have certain features that enable a more comfortable fitting shoe."

Lifestyle Footwear on Maryland Street has plenty of stock of both black leather and sports shoes.

Mrs O'Brien is even able to get shoe sizes in within just two days.

Lifestyle Footwear is also giving you a chance to win a UE Boom 2 with every school shoe purchased in January.
