Stolen jewellery recovered from border break-ins

WALLANGARRA Police have assisted in returning some goods stolen from recent break-ins.

Police charged a 28-year-old Tenterfield man on September 24 in relation to a spate of house break-ins between Wallangarra and Jennings that happened on September 14.

Sergeant Alan Baker said police have since recovered some stolen jewellery and which has been returned to the owner.

The investigation into the break-ins is continuing and it is anticipated further people will be charged.

Sgt Baker urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 18000 333 000 or the Wallangarra Police Station on (07) 4684 3120.
