STANTHORPE'S spate of property offences has continued, with more incidents reported on Saturday.

Stanthorpe Police officer in charge, senior sergeant Mark Ireland said two offences were reported on Saturday.

"A business premises in High St reported being broken into sometime between 11pm Friday evening and 8am Saturday morning,” Sen Sgt Ireland said.

"Thieves forced the rear door of the premises before making off with a cash register, a sum of cash as well as computer equipment.

"Further, sometime between last Wednesday and Saturday afternoon, unknown offenders have entered an open shed in Symes St where they have stolen assorted property including boating and fishing equipment.”

This followed incidents in the early hours of Saturday, September 15, when two homes and a car were broken into.
