St Joey's showcase work

THE Year 11/12 BCT class are hosting a Cultural Showcase on Saturday September 1 from 10am-12pm, as part of their Events Management Assessment. These students are enthusiastically organising this event, which they believe is an ideal opportunity to showcase the talents of many of our St Joseph's students.

The Showcase will feature performances by MM Dance Studio's, Ben Manahan, the St Joseph's Choir and School Band, and students reciting poems from the Eisteddfod. A variety of Primary School Artwork, numerous textiles work and Manual Arts Projects will be on display.

The BCT class are eager to make this event a success, which has them brainstorming and busily making preparations. In keeping with St Joseph's Mercy Values and the commitment to support community projects, the students have also decided to donate a percentage of profits made to the 2018 Light the Night Leukaemia fundraiser. The event will be held at the Bathersby Stadium, and cost of admission will be $10 including morning tea. Tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks and will be available from the School and at the door. A raffle will be also be available with some great prizes up for grabs. Save the date for this exciting event and support the Year 11/12 BCT class.
