Special performance at Sunday craft market
NEXT Sunday, Market in the Mountains will be held in the Exhibition Centre at the Stanthorpe Showgrounds from 8am-noon.
The usual clever crafters will be there and look forward to telling visitors about their passions.
They must make, bake, sew or grow what they sell so visitors are assured there are no cheap imported goods or second-hand items at Market in the Mountains.
The joint will be jumping about 10am when The Graniteers, the local ukulele band, will entertain stallholders and visitors with their wonderfully nostalgic songs and tunes.
When they last performed, the crowd was dancing with even the little ones joining in.
The Stanthorpe branch of the Australian Red Cross is the charity of the day at this market and members will run a raffle which, knowing these ladies, will be well worth supporting.
This will be the third-last market before Christmas so it's a good chance to get those quirky gifts which are always available at the Stanthorpe famous Market in the Mountains.
Come and enjoy a delicious, home-made morning tea with Karl and Janelle at the Cafe de Market.
