GRANITE Belt Softball is happening again this year.

The association is holding two sign-on days over the following two weeks.

Residents will have the chance to sign up for this great summer sport on Saturday, September 16 and Saturday, September 23 in front of the Country Club from 9.30am to 12pm.

You can sign up as an individual or nominate a whole team with a maximum of 10 players.

Matt Murphy from Granite Belt Softball said he believed last year's teams would sign up again as well as two new teams.

"We are hoping to get 10 teams together,” he said.

Murphy said joining in this season's games was a great chance to meet new people.

"It is very social,” he said.

"It's fun and there is no pressure.”

The softball season will commence on Monday, October 9.

With a break over Christmas, games will continue until the end of March next year.

Cost will be $60 for 13 to 17-year-olds and $90 for adults.

For more information call Matt Murphy on 0409342052 or Nita Caslick on 0457332766.
