Snakes alive! Slippery visitor drops by childcare centre
THERE'S a bear in there, and a...snake as well?!
A childcare centre was given a fright when staff discovered a snake coil around a fire hose.
Nambour C&K Childcare Centre phoned Sunshine Coast Snake Catcher Richie Gilbert when they discovered the slippery visitor.
Large python heads into Nambour C&K Childcare Centre. I got a call today to relocate a snake from (yet again) another childcare centre. They certainly seem to attract them. This big snake lulled me into a false sense of security with its calm nature before taking a shot at me when I wasn't expecting it. Haha. I had it under control though and even if it did get me(besides a bite to the face) it wouldn't have bothered me. Yes it does hurt but they are not venomous and certainly not dangerous at all. I wonder which childcare centre I will be visiting tomorrow. Lol. Richie.

It was about the 12th snake he has relocated from child care centres this snake season.
