Yeppoon sisters to be farewelled at funeral on Saturday

SISTERS Jessica and Rheanna Schobbe will be farewelled at a funeral service on Saturday.

The girls died last Thursday when their car rolled 100m from their home near Yeppoon.

Their funeral will be held at Yeppoon State High School.

Meanwhile, the family will hold a private memorial service tomorrow.

The girls' uncle Troy Schobbe said the family was doing as well as could be as expected, but was well supported by both their large family, and from the local community.

Mr Schobbe said yesterday $2500 was raised through an account set up on Facebook to go towards funeral costs.

He added another account had been set up at ANZ Bank, and funds from this account would go towards funeral costs, as well as moving costs.

"With the accident being so close - 100m - to the family home, they don't want to stay there, and will try and find another property to move to in the area," Mr Schobbe said.
