Service Outages for Optus Customers in Stanthorpe

OPTUS mobile customers are experiencing service outages in Stanthorpe with the Telco upgrading its 4G network in the region.

Customers are currently unable to receive calls, texts or use the internet as technicians commence work to upgrade the Stanthorpe tower.

An Optus spokesman said services should return to normal on Saturday.

"During the upgrade work, customers will experience intermittent service availability," he said.

"We apologise to customers that may experience coverage issues and aim to complete our network upgrades locally as quickly as possible."

The Telco suggests diverting calls to a landline or other mobile services, or connecting to public Wi-Fi for data.
