School bombings shock Nepal
PRIVATE school operators in Kathmandu have warned there will be agitation if authorities fail to charge those who planted bombs outside seven schools in the city.
Small bombs exploded outside two schools in Nepal's capital on Tuesday morn- ing and unexploded devices were found at five other schools. Police arrested two suspects.
Pamphlets from a group demanding free edu- cation for all Nepalese children were found near the blast sites and attached to the unexploded bombs. Police surveillance has been increased near Kathmandu schools.
