Public servant jailed over dodgy resume

A Western Australian woman who faked her credentials and posed as her own referee to land a top South Australian government job has been jailed for at least 12 months.

Veronica Hilda Theriault, 46, pleaded guilty to deception and dishonesty charges over her dodgy resume which landed her a plum position in the Department of Premier and Cabinet in 2017.

In the District on Tuesday she was jailed for just over two years with a non-parole period of one year.
