Rotarians keep busy catering
OVER the summer months, the Stanthorpe Rotary Club becomes something of a catering machine.
This creates a large portion of our annual income, which we put back into community projects or donate to worthy causes throughout the year.
During December we catered for the Traprock Group Christmas Party at Terica Station and in this coming month, look out for Rotarians in their green shirts at the Christmas Street Party with our Ham Wheel. Rotarians will be straight back into it all at the Australia Day celebrations with our Aussie Burger stall and the Stanthorpe Show in the Lamb Burger van.
Rotarian Jim Baxter was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship at our own recent Christmas Party in recognition of community service both as a Stanthorpe Rotarian but also for many other groups and organisations for whom he has given his time and energy.
The Stanthorpe Rotary Club would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas and a successful year in 2017.
