Roosters Minichiello says Jared's coping it hard for high hit
ROOSTERS captain Anthony Minichiello believes teammate Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has been harshly treated for his high shot on Manly's George Rose on Monday night.
Waerea-Hargreaves was the first man to be sent off this year, and he faces up to seven weeks on the sidelines if he unsuccessfully challenges his grade-one reckless charge at the judiciary tonight.
The Kiwi front-rower will still cop a five-match ban if he submits an early guilty plea.
"In previous rounds there's probably been high tackles like that before where there hasn't been a send-off, so it was probably a bit harsh," Minichiello said.
