Ring, rodeo title begins show role

MISS Showgirl 2015 has secured its fourth entrant, with Gemma Osbaldeston taking on the role of Miss Ring, Rodeo and Campdraft.

Gemma, 17, said she was excited to be given the opportunity to take part in such a longstanding Stanthorpe tradition.

"This is just such a great chance to get involved in the community and gain new skills," she said.

With five months to go before the 2015 Stanthorpe Show, Gemma was eager to begin her fundraising events.

She hoped to kick things off with a lamington drive in coming weeks, while raffles were also planned. Having grown up in the region, Gemma said it was an honour to take part in the quest.

"I've always thought it would be a good experience,' she said.
