Richie Porte finishes second in Basque tour

TASMANIAN Richie Porte finished second overall in the Tour of the Basque Country in Spain after the Team Sky rider came fourth in the final stage, a 24km time trial in Beasain.

Colombian Nairo Quintana (Movistar) won the the six-stage Tour after finishing 23 seconds ahead of Porte.
