Rats to catch Cods out in clash

THE Warwick Water Rats are set to make a splash in their 12th round clash against the Condamine Cods this week.

Coach Ryan Smith said he was confident in his team's ability to perform in tomorrow's match.

“We had a good training session on Thursday,” he said.

“I think we will be able to pull together to put in a strong performance this week.”

Smith said Warwick could expect a good show for the Water Rats up against Condamine, who he said were midfield in the competition.

Despite last week's A-grade loss to Goondiwindi, the team's prospects look bright with the return of injured centre Fred Walker.

The team will also be boosted by new prop Kev Neal, who joined the team after moving to Warwick.

This week's home game will take place at Risdon Oval.
