
Rain does not dampen love
NATALYN Richards and Jason Savio tied the knot in Stanthorpe recently.
The couple married at St Joseph's Catholic Church on the afternoon of October 22.
The bride, from Stanthorpe, is the only daughter of the late Darren Richards and Jodie Lowe.
The groom, who lives in Cottonvale, is the second youngest son of John and Maryanne Savio, of Pozieres.
The reception was held at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism, with 120 guests.
The bride was given away by her mother, Jodie Lowe.
"Despite the rain it was a really good day,” Mrs Savio said.
"I got to marry my best friend. The whole day was amazing.
"The ceremony, reception and entertainment was perfect.
"It honestly was everything I've ever dreamt of and more.”
Bridesmaids were Rachel Gimm, Steff Goodwin, Lisa Salter and Alaina Savio.
The best man was Jon Warr and groomsmen were Casey Ieotta, Daniel Salter and Michael Savio.
The newlyweds, who will honeymoon in Europe, said they would live in Stanthorpe after the wedding.
