Police search for men after fire guts historic flour mill

A FIRE has gutted the historic Albion flour mill, which was set to be the centrepiece of a residential development in Brisbane's north.
The fire broke out about 2.15am on Wednesday, engulfing all four floors of the unused building, and was not contained until about 3.30am.
Parts of the landmark building might need to be demolished after a large crack appeared in the brickwork.
Police are looking for two men witnesses saw leaving the scene. Investigations are continuing.
The fire shut down trains on northern lines that would normally travel through the adjacent Albion station.
Scottish migrants were believed to have constructed the mill during the 1930s, producing flour until it ceased operating in 2004.
