RACQ executives visit region
EXECUTIVE members of RACQ visited Stanthorpe this week to meet with local partners Favero Motors.
Chief executive officer assistance Glenn Toms was joined by CEO banking Michelle Bagnall and president Bronwyn Morris on their trip to the Granite Belt.
Mr Toms said the trip was to touch base with the Favero family which had worked with RACQ for more than 40 years.
"It's so we understand what conditions are in those regions and what capabilities we've got to service our members,” he said.
"We spoke to the patrol man who'd been on duty overnight and he was telling us about changing a battery at one o'clock in the morning when it's so cold and is hard on his hands.
"It's about experiencing things you don't experience when you're sitting in your office in Brisbane.”
Mr Toms said he had faith the Faveros were the right people for servicing members in the area.
"Every town has someone who is a partner of ours, it's really great to meet the personalities and hear the stories.”
