Pupils rewarded for their outstanding behaviour
DALVEEN State School commemorates Anzac Day every year with a community service.
Dalveen residents were invited to join the students commemorate the fallen soldiers of Dalveen.
The students laid a cross and poppy for each of Dalveen's soldiers that fought so bravely and gave their life for our country and way of life.
Our student leaders, Flynn and Caleb, conducted the commemoration and we were very pleased to see such a great turnout from the Dalveen community.
Athletics at Dalveen
DALVEEN students are participating in Athletics for the next seven weeks as part of the Sporting Schools Funding.
Coach Susan from the IAAF is conducting skills-based classes every Thursday afternoon.
The students are definitely enjoying the experience and improving their fitness levels at the same time.
PBL Rewards Day
POSITIVE Behaviour for Learning is the behaviour management procedure used by Dalveen State School.
Students earn Dalveen Dollars for behaving appropriately and meeting the school expectations for behaviour.
Last term the students needed to collect 1000 Dalveen Dollars between them to receive a whole school reward.
The students easily exceeded this and as a result were rewarded with a fun morning out at the Granite Belt Maze, where they all got lost, solved puzzles, played a round of golf and feasted on sausages sandwiches.
We can't wait to see where we will end up in term two for our behaviour reward.
