Power Tynan crack Top 100 list
LOCAL firm Power Tynan finished the year with a bang, being ranked #62 in The Australian Financial Review's Top 100 Accounting Firms for 2017.
"Receiving national recognition is a fantastic achievement, especially for a regional firm,” CEO Amanda Kenafake said.
"It shows we are attaining results in line with firms in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, which is testament to our team and the service we provide to our clients, as well as the way we approach our challenging environment.”
Walker Wayland Australasia Limited, of which Power Tynan is a member, also made the Top 100 list, coming in at #17.
"Through this network of independent professional firms located throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia, we are uniquely equipped to deliver a range of services that are relevant to organisations doing business in the Asia-Pacific region,” Ms Kenafake said.
While Power Tynan is known for their taxation and accounting expertise, the team offers a full range of services including succession planning, business improvement, corporate advisory, financial planning, business intelligence and data analysis.
"We are doing a lot in the IT space - getting client's systems up and running, configuring the systems to talk to each other, doing the data analytics.
"This all leads to greater advisory because we've got access to the right information,” Ms Kenafake said.
"It's no longer just about the numbers.
"We are changing the conversations we are having and the way we engage with our clients to ensure we are looking at their business and personal cycle in its entirety.”
