Poultry show part of this month's market

THE mid-winter Showgrounds Market will be at Stanthorpe Show Grounds on Sunday, July 22.

These markets provide an opportunity for locals to sell their goods in a friendly relaxed atmosphere where patrons can stroll around a myriad of goods for sale or just sit and enjoy the Sunday morning ambience of the good food at the Ringmasters Café.

Special attraction for July will be the Annual Poultry Show in the Poultry Pavilion - entries are being accepted up to the closing date on July 13.

Junior entries are welcome and encouraged.

There will be prize money, trophies and sashes on offer for hard feather, soft feather and waterfowl sections. Public can view from 10am.

All inquiries for stalls should be directed to Chris Robins on 0416 169 032. Set up is at 6am to 8am when the markets open.

These markets are an initiative of the Stanthorpe Agricultural Society's Event Management Sub-committee.

Come along next weekend and enjoy all the market's have to offer.
