BE SURE to pack an umbrella when heading out, with possible showers and partly cloudy conditions expected over the Granite Belt for the next few days.

A slight chance of showers is forecast for today through to Saturday, with temperatures expected to reach a maximum of 20°C.

Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Nicholas Shera said the chance of rain on Sunday will be slightly higher, with a possible storm also forecast for the afternoon.

Mr Shera said temperatures forecast for Saturday and Sunday are slightly below the April average, but will return to normal early next week.

"Monday will start to get gradually warmer,” he said.

Weather is expected to clear on Tuesday for Anzac Day, Mr Shera said.

"Skies will be mostly sunny on Tuesday,” he said.
