Police review CCTV over loo damage

POLICE are investigating after public toilets in Stanthorpe were damaged overnight.

Stanthorpe police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Gerard Brady said two doors were kicked in at the Weeroona Park facility on Monday night.

He said damage was sustained to both doors and police were in the process of reviewing CCTV footage.

Plates stolen

POLICE have been investigating after two New South Wales registration plates were stolen from a Toyota Prado parked in Archibald St, Stanthorpe, between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Speedster nabbed

A SEVERLNEA man, 41, was detected speeding on the New England Hwy at 8.20pm last Tuesday. Police alleged he was also unlicensed. He was issued with a notice to appear in Stanthorpe Magistrates Court.

Drug driver

A STANTHORPE woman, 41, was intercepted by police on High St, Stanthorpe, at 1.30pm last Tuesday and returned a positive drug test. She was issued with a notice to appear in court.
