Police raid home on fraud matters, discover drug lab

A 27-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested following the discovery of a clandestine drug lab at a home in West Gladstone.

Police raided the home at 2pm on Sunday in relation to fraud matters and found equipment used to manufacture illicit drugs. 

The man has been charged with seven counts of possessing dangerous drugs, one count of possessing a utensil and one count of failing to dispose.

He has also been charged with one count of attempted fraud, five counts of fraud, three counts of forgery and seven counts of utter in relation to fraud.

Further charges are expected.

The man is scheduled to appear in the Gladstone Magistrates court on April 30.
